sacred clowning
sacred clowning comes from the tradition of the mime clown ,
the archetype of the holy fool ..
it is a wordless way of being with whatever is happening right now .. it is rooted in the quiet place people connect to in meditation , and those unforeseen moments that make you stop and smile, and feel .. the smell of earth after rain .. sunlight suddenly pouring into the room you are in .. beautiful music .. a memory ..
it can bring poignancy , a childlike sense of wonder, new connections , unexpected humour .....
